Rocket Internet, based in Berlin, is the largest European incubator for the establishment of successful internet e-commerce models. In the past few years, we have become a strong partner for numerous successful companies in supporting them with our unparalleled online expertise, network of contacts and equity. Some of best-known projects include Groupon, Zalando, Wimdu and eDarling.

We are looking for junior and senior PHP developers to join our Taiwan team of developers building several online businesses starting with Rocket Internets venture Zalando - one of the top fashion e-commerce websites in Europe.

Criteria for junior developers

  • Excellent XHTML and CSS knowledge
  • Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming
  • Experience with PHP and Javascript essential
  • Exposure to PHP MVC frameworks (Zend, CakePHP, Yii) and jQuery highly desirable
  • Ability to communicate across business and technical audiences
  • 6 to 12 months web development experience
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
  • Must be a self-starter with highest of professional standards
